What the Actual…

Two thoughts for today: one, best leftovers ever;

And two,

Picture of the Day 69: http://youtu.be/ctrMjQt4DMk?t=2s (caution, language)

Tonight we had a couple of friends over for an excellent evening of boardgames. We started with this 1978 Trivial Pursuit Master Game Genius Edition, to which we’ve added the following, special rule: anyone who gets more than 30% of the questions correct is immediately disqualified. Needless to say, with questions such as “what runner was Sports Illustrated‘s 1954 Sportsman of the Year?”, no one was disqualified.  And if you think about it, really, isn’t a question from a 1954 magazine totally outdated even by 1978 standards? Like, 24 years out of date?

We had a wonderful night, plenty of laughs. The answer, by the way, was Roger Bannister. If you’ve ever heard of him, or if you will ever hear of him again after this blog, only time will tell.

PS the answer is no, that’s the last you’ll hear of him.

PPS an even better question was the Entertainment gem: Who became Tania?

I’d tell you, but you’ve never heard of her either.

    Thank you for sharing. You guys are very lucky – you didn’t have to eat Norwegian leftovers 🙂 http://thornews.com/2011/12/29/smalahove-salted-and-dried-sheeps-head/
