Picture of the Day 38: broken clothesline off Batlow’s main street
This afternoon, for lack of better ideas, I drove through the Gilmore Valley to Batlow. Sax and I had a short walk around the closed shops, the abandoned cannery, the park, and the high roads. There isn’t much in Batlow, an orchard town high in the mountains, but what a beautiful afternoon. If I had a billion dollars, I’d buy Batlow. All of it. Or of much of it as I could afford. The cannery, I’d make into a paintball park. Urban paintball! In an abandoned factory! How sweet would that be? 😀
Anyway, here are some of the lovely views around town.
Urban paintball park? What do you think? Would you go? Let me know!
