Searing Hot Laser Cactus

Picture of the Day 25: Ryan conquers the shade

Part one of our bike tour of Tumut: town, the wetlands, the river walk and race course. I really would like to have access to the pavilion and such in the race course. Arrangeable?

It’s been another wonderful, clear day down here. Summer could be the best time of year, aside from one tiny thing… it’s too hot to do anything! Tonight, I happened to hear a news reporter say, “So far it’s been a mild summer, with no days over 40 degrees.” I guess there’s no need to count the 40+ days we had in November. And we’re right back into the high temps at the end of the week, with Friday 39oC, Saturday 41oC, etc.

To show how hot it is, even my cactus has started shooting searing lasers:

And also, the sky is on fire:

Can we conquer the historical town of Gungagai, including Australia’s longest wooden bridge, in the high heat of tomorrow? Find out, next time on Skullventure!
